In alignment with the State of California, which has removed mask and vaccine requirements for indoor events, effective March 2022, The Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center (BSPAC) will not require patrons to provide proof of vaccination or to wear masks while attending shows or events in our theater.
There is an apparent increase in cases of COVID this late summer of 2023. More prevalence is expected as the fall progresses. A new vaccine booster is being developed that will provide increased protection from the virus as it continues to evolve. This should be available in the coming months. We encourage vaccination. Although we must all make our own healthcare decisions, we do recommend mask-wearing while at BSPAC, and patrons should feel comfortable wearing a mask if you choose.
If you are feeling sick or exhibiting any COVID-19-like symptoms, or if you have been exposed to COVID-19 within five days of attending your performance, we recommend you stay home. You may contact BSPAC at the theater box office or by email at bspac2016@gmail.com and arrange for a ticket exchange. Alternatively, you may call (760)767-4275 and leave a message.
